This series took me back to my roots: celebrating the Balkan Kelim made by women in their homes or small workshops for their own use. A Kelim is a knitted carpet or wall hanging. The motifs include lines, zigzag lines, triangles, diamonds and stylized motifs from flora and fauna. I used pigments, acrylics and cut out shapes to make one of a kind Monoprints on Paper.
